spell.
The dirk is faintly magical,
granting a +1 bonus on attack rolls.
The dirk does 1d4 + 2 points of
damage when it hits.
Against undead and monsters from the lower
outer planes,
the dirk does 1d4 + 3 points of
damage on a successful hit.
If the crystal dirk scores maximum
damage,
the monster will be paralyzed until the
end of the next round following the hit.
