This pendant or brooch device serves as a ward for the psyche (soul).

The wearer cannot be possessed by magic jar spell or any similar mental attack, including demonic or diabolic means.
If the wearer is slain, the psyche enters the amulet and is protected for 7 full days.
Thereafter it goes to the plane of its alignment, however.
If the amulet is destroyed during the 7 days, the psyche is utterly and irrevocably annihilated.

Note: psionic attack modes psionic blast or psychic crush will not harm the wearer.
