When one of these devices is displayed and a command uttered,
all intelligent hostile creatures within a 4" radius must save vs.
Magic or become enraged.
Those making the save may perform normally; enraged enemies will fly
into a berserk fury
and attack the nearest creature (even their own comrades) -- + 1 "to
hit",
+2 on damage, -3 on their own
AC. The rage will last for 7-12
rounds, and during this period, the enraged creatures will continually
attack without reason || fear, moving on to attack other creatures
nearest
them if initial opponents are slain. A scarab of this type contains
from
19-24 charges.
