Ogremoch appears in a rough,
apparently unfinished bipedal form, 10'
tall.
He attacks as a 24 hit dice monster,
striking twice for 5-50 hit points of
damage per attack each round.
+3 or better weapons are required to harm
him.
As prince of evil earth creatures,
Ogremoch can summon one of the following
groups once per day:
1-3 earth
elementals,
1-6 evil khargra,
1-4 umber hulks
or
1-4 evil xorn.
<space>
In addition,
he can perform the following thrice per
day:
produce a triple-strength [wall of stone],
[move earth] (double AREA, <> casting
time in rounds rather than turns),
[flesh to stone].
<space>
Once per day he can cause an [earthquake] of 100' diameter.
He cannot be harmed by normal
fire or by poison.
Cold, lightning,
and magical fire attacks subtract 1 point
of damage per attack die against him.
Ogremoch lives in a great flat-topped
mountain on the Elemental Plane of Earth. <link>

ADQ: Was the huge, doughy, man-like
being featured in a recent hit motion
picture actually a creature from the
AD&D Game?
ADA: Yes, and congratulations for being
so observant. That was our very own
Ogremoch, who normally plays a starring
role in the long-running FIEND FOLIO
Tome show. As he has been generally
unsuccessful in trying to find evil
earth elementals, evil khargra, and evil xorn
(none of which exist in the game system,
despite Ogremoch's description), we
loaned him to the studio for a cameo role.
Several envelopers (from the same volume)
also applied, but their skills were sadly
insufficient for the demands of the
role.
Ogremoch has just returned from visiting
relatives on Easter Island during his
post-production vacation, and is happily
back at his old job and showing off his
tan.
We must annouce, as long as we're on
the topic, that the creatures employed by
TSR, Inc. for roles in the monster listings
are not, according to their contracts,
required to sign autographs or make
public appearances. All requests for pictures
must be sent to their respective
agents. (Editor's Note: Despite the contractual
freedom allowed to our employer
creatures, Roger Moore can often be
convinced to sign autographs -- even
those of other people.).
