These creatures are the most feared non-master slaadi,
being the ones
most often sent to the Prime Material Plane as Executioners
of their
masters’ will. They appear in normal form as relatively
small slaadi,
a uniform light grey in colour. They will more normally
visit the
Prime Material Plane, however, as humans (with charisma
at least 12).
They have 18(00) strength.
When fighting in slaad form, the executioners use their
two claws for
4-10 hit points of damage each and a bite for 2-16 hit
points of
damage. In human form they attack twice per round with
a sword -
usually (75%) a +2 magical sword but sometimes (25%)
a more
powerful magical weapon such as a sword of sharpness.
When on the
Prime Material Plane, the executioners usually wear no
armour, preferring
instead light clothing. They will usually carry treasure
- one
or two powerful magical items with a pouch of gold or
platinum.
Once per melee round they may use one of the following
powers:
cause fear, cause darkness (15’ radius or less, at will),
know alignment,
in fravision 60: create an illusion, flame strike, wind
walk, shape
change (slaad/man), invisibility, generate a ball of
lightning
(8d6+6 damage per ball). Once per day they can use a
symbol ofpain
or fear and power word: blind. Given the time and the
equipment,
they can enchant an item. They may also, once per day,
attempt to
gate in 1-3 more grey slaad with a 60% chance of the
gate opening.
Grey slaadi may travel the planes
at will and are unaffected by cold or
disintegration spells.
