Thunderherders are distant
cousins to the purple worm but are
not
aggressive. These creatures
travel in vast herds just a few feet under the
ground. They are inoffensive
and of sizes ranging from 3-5 feet wide and
5-10 feet long. They are
found in desert regions.
Earthquake: The main
dangers from thunderherders are the incidental earth tremors
and the terrible trumpeting
that they create as they stampede underground.
They do no real damage but
generate a great deal of confusion,
knock over tents, and panic
all pack animals. A single creature can cause
a small tremor.
