Effect: By means of this spell,
the M-U changes a volume of water to a volatile,
flammable substance similar to alcohol and likewise lighter than water.

If this substance is exposed to flame,
fire,
or even a spark,
it will burst into flames and burn with a hot fire.
Each creature subject to firewater flame will suffer 2-12 hit points of damage.
The firewater created will evaporate and be useless within 1 round,
even if it is securely contained and sealed,
so if must be utilized (ignited) within 10 segments of its creation.

MC: The material components of this spell are a few grains of sugar and a raisin.

<1 pint = 16 ounces = 1 pound>

UW: The substance produced by this spell will float to
the top of the body of water. The firewater may not be
ignited underwater.

WSG: If the group has water to spare, this spell is an effective
way to start a campfire without kindling or any other preparation
other than a moderate-sized pile of branches. If as little as
one pint of firewater is prepared, sprinkled evenly over the fuel,
and ignited before it evaporates, it will cause branches, logs, etc.,
to catch fire wherever the substance is present. The flame thus
produced will spread to the rest of the fuel and produce a blaze
that can be used for cooking or warmth, or both.
