The kusari-gama is a development of the common kama (sickle), designed for more fighting purposes.
It is a kama with a length of weighted chain attached to the butt end of the handle. It can be used in several ways.
The user can attack with the kama in hand,
he can club and entangle with the weighted chain,
or he can whirl the kama at the end of the chain.
This weapon is relatively easy to make and is favored by both peasants && ninjas.
