Aquatic chelonians,
also known as sea turtles, may be found in
Cretaceous settings as well as in modern
ones, with the difference
that Cretaceous forms may exceed 3 HD
in size. Though large,
they are inoffensive eaters of sea grasses
and jellyfish. Modern
leatherback and hawkbill turtles are typical,
while Archelon is an
extremely large Cretaceous form. If attacked,
they usually flee;
if this fails, they retaliate with a bite.
