This guild has only forty-odd members, but it produces
a prodigious amount of drink for Waterdhavians and for
export Guild members annually turn out thousands
upon thousands of barrels of wine, beer, liquor, and various
liqueurs, including the distinctive “zzar,” a Waterdhavian
fortified wine that is fiery, orange, slightly
almond-flavored, and equivalent to sherry. Players Handbook
prices apply to such wares; zzar is 2 sp per jack, or
7 sp per bottle. This is a difficult Guild to join; years of
apprenticeship to a member are necessary. The Master is
careful not to increase the membership so much that the
competition will hurt Guild members.
