    These rings were often used throughout the
ages as wizards' last defenses against death.

    This ring only works for MUs and
must be worn upon the right hand. It can cure
a light wound (less than 6 points of damage)
completely and can heal a mortal wound sufficiently
to prevent death (it brings the character
to 1 HP). It is activated by touch.
Once used, the ring cannot be used again by
that character.
