The morkoth, or morlock, is a dim, shadowy monster often referred to as
the "wraith of the deep." It is possibly humanoid, but reports vary.
It inhabits dark, deep waters.

Lair: The lair of a morkoth is a series of spiraling tunnels,
and at the nexus of these passages lurks the morkoth.

Hynosis: Any creature passing over one of these tunnels is drawn towards it hypnotically,
far the tunnels form a pattern which is hypnotic.

Charm: When a victim is within the passages he approaches the morkoth without realizing it and will be charmed by a spell from the monster unless a saving throw at -4 on the die is made.
The charmed victim will then be devoured at the morkoth's leisure.

The tunnels of a morkoth are constructed so as to prevent large creatures from entering.
There are typically 6 tunnels in a lair. Note that should any victim come closer than 6", the hypnotic effect is broken.

Combat: The morkoth attacks by biting.
A charmed creature will suffer this attack without knowledge,
and thus enable the monster to consume it.

Spell Reflection: Spell attacks of any sort are reflected by the morkoth,
affecting the caster and possibly affecting others nearby also,
if the spell is one with an AREA effect.
Exception: However, if a dispel magic is cast simultaneously,
the morkoth will beunable to reflect the spell and there is a 50% chance that the magic will affect the creature,
although even then the morkoth is allowed a saving throw.

The morkoth isn't mine, so I can't comment.
