Rug of Smothering: This finely woven carpet resem'bles a carpet of flying
and will give off magical radiations if detected for. The character seating
himself or herself upon it and giving a command will be surprised,
however, as the rug of smothering will tightly roll itself around that
individual and suffocate him or her in 3-6 rounds. The rug cannot be
physically prevented from so wrapping itself, and the rug can be
prevented from smothering its victim only by the casting of any one of the
following spells: after reality, animate object, hold plant, wish.
