* These "specials" relate to variable numbers, which may never be below 13, and most average about 16

Knights of this type often (60%) have 1-4 squires and a group of 1-10 men-at-arms to serve them as they travel.
These knights will usually (75% of the time) grant mercy to all those that ask for it during battle.

The following are all good or neutral knights of the Arthurian legends.
All practiced chivalry in some form or degree.
Knights of Quality
Accolon o' Gaul
Agravaine (brother of Gawaine, betrayer of Launcelot)
Balin
Barant Les Apres (King of the Hundred Knights)
Bedivere
Bohort
Bors de Ganis
Bruin le Noire (La Cote Male Taile)
Dinadan
Ector de Maris
Florence
Gaheris (brother of Gawaine)
Kay (Arthur's seneschal) <(cf. The Mabinogion, Kei>
Lavaine
Lionel
Marhaus
Miles o' the Lands
Pelleas
Percard (knight of the black lawns)
Percivale
Perimones (the red knight)
Pertelope (the green knight)
Sagramour le Desirous
Trantrist o' the White
Ulfius
Uwaine
Wisshard

The following knights are evil through and through, and will go to any length to win a battle.
They can be counted on to have a wide variety of dirty tricks up their sleeves.
The concept of chivalry means very little to them and it is to be used solely for the advantage it gives them over others.

Knights of Quality (Evil)
Breunis Sans Pite
Edward the Knight Perilous
Mordred
Turquine

ADQ: If my character if of the proper
alignment and class, can he/she become a
Knight of Quality as taken from the DDG?
ADA: The set of circumstances that created
the Arthurian Heroes and the legends associated
with the Arthurian Heroes are quite
specific. If your DM has a campaign that
includes all of the people and legends of
that mythos, then it is possible to be granted
the title Knight of Quality and be ranked
among the proud knights of that time. The
title also places great demands on the
owner. He/she must spend time righting
wrongs and doing unusually good deeds. In
short, it is possible, but it is up to the DM.
