This personal cantrip is enacted by the caster
snapping his or her fingers and making
a popping verbal noise simultaneously;
this causes a large, powerful blue spark
to come into being at any precise location
(familiar, or unseen and merely
chosen by direction and distance) within
a range of 1" per level of the caster.

The energy of the spark will be transmitted
by any conducting materials it
contacts, but the spark does not require
the presence of electrical (or any other)
energy, and is not affected by dampness
or other atmospheric conditions.

If the caster is of 6th level or higher, the cantrip
will produce 2-5 (1d4 + 1) sparks in
the same spot, in rapid (successive segments)
succession.
