Effect: This spell
is the same as the fourth level minor globe of invulnerability
(q.v.),
except as regards CT
and for the fact that it prevents the functioning of
1st through 4th level spells
affecting the M-U within the globe,
while he or she can cast
spells through it, of course.
Globe of Invulnerability: Unlike the
minor globe (see comments
above) the
DMG does not state that this more
powerful defensive globe shimmers.
Thus, it should be considered to be
invisible, except that spells such as
detect invisibility, etc, should NOT reveal
the PRESENCE of a globe, while more
powerful spells such as true sight/true
seeing obviously would.
