Effect: By means of this spell, the illusionist creates the illusion of a door.
The illusion also permits
the illusionist to appear to step through this "door" and disappear,
when in reality he or she
has darted aside,
and can then flee totally
invisible for the spell duration.
Creatures viewing this are
deluded into seeing/entering an empty 10' X 10' room if they open the "door".
Only a true seeing spell,
a gem of seeing, or similar magical means will discover the illusionist.
DMG: The invisibly
fleeing illusionist can be detected (cf. INVISIBILITY),
but there must be active
and concentrated attempts to do so.
This will not simply be
noticed in passing,
as attention will be on
the shadow door.
Wu
Jen: This spell creates the illusion of a door
or sliding panel which the wu jen appears to step through.
The wu jen is in fact, rendered
invisible by this spell for as long as the
illusion is there, and may flee undisturbed.
Those opening the "door"
see an empty 10-foot by 10-foot room.
Only true
sight, a gem of seeing, or
similar means reveals the illusion.
