This god has a roc's body with the oversized head of a man. He has 2 main
attributes: the power to raise up a hurricane wind (doing 5-50 points of
damage per melee round) and the power to call forth any creature of the
sea (of non-divine nature) to do his bidding. His wind force is said to be
able to last a full day when "great wrath is upon the deity". His summoning
power will seem to create beings from the very water.

One spell attack against Shan Hai Ching per round will be turned back
upon the caster. If multiple spells are cast, the one turned is chosen ot
rondom.

The Realm of Shan-Hai Ching (Nirvana.Shan-Hai Ching): The Chinese god of wind and sea makes his
home on a smaller disk that interlocks with that of Shang-Ti. The
water of his plane provides the irrigation for Shang-Ti's peaches
of immortality. His wheel is filled with water, having just enough
land about its borders to interlock with adjacent disks. Many sea
creatures of Oriental origin make their homes in the realm of
Shan-Hai Ching. A fair wind is always blowing in this domain.

The god and his clerics serve all beings using the sea, and any trip out into
the oceans requires a sacrifice to this deity for good winds and the like.
