Effect: By means of this cantrip, the caster causes the subject individual to involuntarily giggle.
The loudness and length of
this reaction depend on the save.
If the subject fails to
save, the result will be a
chuckle or giggle lasting
about 2 or 3 seconds. If the save succeeds,
only a brief chuckle will
be caused.
C: The verbal component
is a single
word or phrase (known in
magical circles as a “punch line”) to be spoken
while one finger is moved
back and forth rapidly.
WSG: The interruption caused by
use of this cantrip is not severe
enough or long-lasting enough to cause
a character to lose
his concentration on a spell he is trying
to maintain (see detect
snares
& pits for an example).
