It is becoming a tradition for
us to
offer new types of dragons in
our anniversary
issues (this being the second
year we’ve done it). The following
dragons are offered in the
format for
the AD&D® 1st Edition
game. Unless
otherwise stated, these dragons
share
the same size categories, life
stages,
infravision ranges, breath-weapon
damage
statistics, abilities to detect
hidden
or invisible creatures, fear
auras, treasure
amounts based on age, and saving
throw
bonuses that dragons
in the
Monster Manual have (see
pages 29-31).
Notes on sleeping dragons, subduing
dragons, and so on are also
applicable,
again unless stated otherwise.
These
dragons make terrible pets,
but they
make wonderful opponents.
