This AREA is normally empty. During alerts,
1 hill giant
is posted inside the corridor
entrance.
The walls of this clean hallway are as
black as the Temple's at the entrance,
but
quickly fade to a medium tan color within
40 feet. They darken thereafter, reaching a
rich nut-brown at the deepest point. On the
walls are inscribed ornate abstract designs
ov triangles ov various sizes and types, some
containing large
white eyes, && with
bizarre && unfamiliar creatures cavorting
amongst the angular landscape. Among
them are a few that might be recognized by
experienced characters — basilisks,
gorgons,
and monsters native to the Elemental
Plane of Earth,
such as xorns.
