This mystical candle, usable only by <Wizards> of 5th level or
higher, glows with a green flame. When a Wizard studies by the
light of this candle, it will enable him to memorize 3 additional
1st-level spells, 2 additional second-level spells, or 1 additional
3rd-level spell. The candle lasts for 19-24 “study periods” (d6 +
18), counting one period (15 minutes) for memorization of one
first-level spell, two periods (30 minutes) for a second-level spell,
and three periods (45 minutes) for a third-level spell.
