This AREA is normally empty. During alerts,
1 ettin is posted
inside the corridor
entrance.
The walls of this hallway quickly change
from the Temple's
black to a dull
blood-red.
The colour lightens as one progresses further,
reaching a bright orange-red
flame design at
the deepest point. The walls are decorated
in an abstract design of interlocking eight-pointed
fire
symbols. Drawn amongst the
flames && symbols
are pits, and from these
rush dozens of fiery monsters,
some recognizable
(such as efreet
&& salamanders,
natives of the Elemental
Plane of Fire), but
most of them unknown.
