This goddess appears in the
form of a beautiful woman,
and will on rare occasions
pick exceptionally brave warriors in battle and {aid}
them.
This aid takes the form
of that warrior never being hit,
always making his or her
save,
and never missing an attempted
hit.
This lasts for the duration
of the melee.
At will,
the goddess can shape
change, <e?> <x>
animate statues of
herself in her temples,
and can summon from
the dead any being she has killed in a past battle to aid any given side
(only on a one time basis per being).
She uses a double bladed
brass axe that has the following abilities:
it strikes for 25 points
of damage per hit,
causes any armor it strikes
to turn to dust (no save),
and the user is never surprised.
Her breast plates negate
any damage caused by heat,
cold,
fang,
|| claw to her body.
The goddess is a fickle being and requires the sacrificing of the best in magickal or high quality weapons on her altars.
In battle,
she drives a chariot pulled
by seven lions to which she has given the
gift of flight (MV 30").
They are otherwise normal
beasts which are under her complete control.

The Realm of Inanna (Hell.4:Phlegethos):
Hecate
of the Greeks and Inanna of the Sumerians have
adjacent
realms in Phlegethos,
the fourth Hell, with suitable conduits
to reach those worlds where
they are venerated.
Hecate tends to
be more lawful than evil,
sending her quota of devils out in an
organized fashion to punish
particular misdeeds. Inanna is the
reverse, more evil than
lawful. She delights in the fickcle nature
that sending too many (or
not enough) evil servants into battle
may bring. The two goddesses'
relationships with Belial are
unknown, though the arch-devil
has been known to call on both
their courts. Both are indifferent
to their organized neighbors
unless they are dragged
into the fray--something that Asmodeus
would rather cut off a limb
than see happen. (Asmodeus dreads
the thought of the Greek
&& Sumerian pantheons descending
on his plane and upsetting
his delicate balance of power.) The
other devils tend to keep
arrangements with these Powers very
quiet lest they incur Asmodeus's
wrath.
