Movanic devas serve primarily on the Material
Planes -- Negative, Positive,
and Prime.
Whether power is -negative- || +positive+
is all the same to them.
A movanic deva is armed typically with
a
long, slender sword with which
it strikes rapidly and skillfully.
The weapon generally conforms to the characteristics
of a +1 flame tongue sword
wit respect to effects and special bonuses to hit && damage.
A movanic deva can use the spell-like
powers given above,
at will,
1 per round,
to the applicable maximums.
Light
shed by a movanic deva varies in radius from 2-20 feet, as desired.
The protection
from evil sphere is one of a 10-foot radius and half (+1) power.
A movanic deva can also at will,
once per round,
cause
|| cure blindness,
detect traps <find
traps?>,
and neutralize
poison (3 per day).
Movanic devas can be harmed only by +1 or better weapons.
Plant life of any sort will not (and cannot)
{harm} them.
Similarly, normal animals will not willingly
attack them.
(Reptiles and similar creatures such as
"monsters" may do so).
They are immune to death magic.
Life level loss, energy
drain, &&|| other energy effects of the -Negative-
|| +Positive+ Material Planes do not
affect movanic devas.
Their CHA
effect is 18.
MORE MISSING TEXT
It seems that every time I open MM2,
I find something else which was
omitted from the material I submitted.
While some errors are bound to creep in, I
am beginning to suspect that I am being
faced with a printer's devil. Okay,
so my
puns are worse than usual. The upshot is,
no descrpition of the appearance of a mov-anic deva was included. Here
is the portion
dropped from my typed manuscript copy:
"Movanic devas have skin of pale
rose color. Their hair is of coppery
red and their eyes of metallic coppery
hue. Their wings are rosy white.
They otherwise resemble humans of
the most superior sort."
If any of you find portions of descriptions
missing, do let me know. Meanwhile, I am
looking for errors and omissions which
originated from my own carelessness.
